Sushi Cafe has changed over the course of the last few years. It used to be much better and easier to deal with, but they changed a bunch. I was confused with their signage instructing me to order at the cashier. If there are tables and a sushi bar, can’t I order there? Maybe my confusion showed on my face so the cashier/waitress took our order directly from us.
The food is OK, pretty simple and decent, but for $20 bucks I had a quick and easy meal. The fish was fresh, the rice was sticky and the soup and salad was decent too.
Want quick, fast sushi? Stop in to Sushi Cafe @ 328 Essex Street in Lodi on the Hackensack border next to the Boston Market and Subway. Then get some Rita’s a block over.
