The Boys & Girls club is a place for your kids to go to get away from the house and be with like-minded kids their age. The Boys & Girls Club, convientiently located on Midland Ave recently was in the news for obtaining a few new computers from politicians that upgraded. They also were given a nice gift from Morgan Stanley by way of 140 meals a day for the B&G’s Club Summer Program.
September 13, 2009 – Boys & Girls Club of Garfield is teeing up to celebrate “Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids,” (BGC Day for Kids) a major annual family event highlighting the value of meaningful time between caring adults and children. In Garfield, BGC Day for Kids will be celebrated with hundreds of parents and kids participating in an event at Century Field, Elizabeth Street and Gaston Avenue. FREE Food, Live Music, Games, Relay Races, Showcases and more. The program will begin at 1:00 PM and run until the food runs out and the music stops at 5:00 PM.
