Nestled on River Road in the borough of Fair Lawn is a Dutch farm that is a step back in time to the way the original settlers of our area lived and worked. At this merry time of year, this warm and inviting place will be holding several holiday themed events during the month of December.
On Sunday December 6th, a Holiday Wreath Making workshop will be held from 1PM – 4PM. Cost is $25. To attend call April Barth at 201-797-7545 to reserve your spot. Experienced wreath makers will be present to help as you create a festive and original wreath.
On Thursday, December 10th from 10AM-2PM come out for Deck the Halls. Help decorate the homestead with traditional Dutch decorations for their annual Dutch Christmas celebration.
On Sunday December 12th from 10AM-4PM enjoy a visit with Sinterklaas at the Dutch Christmas celebration. Handcrafted items, art, gifts from the garden, and the annual Garretson Farm bake sale will be available to purchase.
