I used Chris Ridge Service in the last 5 years over a few dozen times for both issues large and small and they never cease to amaze me. Chris Ridge Service is located on Park Avenue in Rutherford. Now, I’ve got my oil changed countless times with Chris, I’ve had the tires rotated and balanced, flat tires repaired, but the last time was for the air conditioning.
The car’s AC was not working well at all and I brought it into Chris Ridge Service. They kept it for a few hours and fixed it, but there was still something wrong after I drove home. A few days later, I dropped it back off and Chris said they overcharged the AC and took some coolant out. Boom, problem solved. I like local business, places that don’t answer to a giant corporation. Businesses that care and will work with you until you’re happy and Ridge Service is one of them.
I’ll keep going back and back for all my auto needs. The prices are good, the service is good and they are good peeps.
UPDATE
I’ve recently had my brakes checked out and they needed a remedy. I thought about the cheaper (chain) places, but I knew Chris and co. would do a great job. THREE hours later, my brakes were replaced and BOOM, I drove home happy. Chris also keeps you in the loop before fixing or not your issue. I love that place!
