Three words – Buffalo Chicken Sandwich! Davey’s Pub is my kind of place. Great food, great service, decent beer selection with one or two craft brews. I love the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich as you read before, but seriously, it’s amazing. It’s crunchy and mildly spicy with just the right amount of blue cheese to balance it out. You need to order it with waffle fries too. The menu is extensive; it’s full of salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, a ton of entreés and even traditional Irish fare.
I’d recommend, aside from the aforementioned buffalo sandwich, the crispy portabella fries and wash it down with a pint of the local (NY State) Defiant brew. Davey’s lunch crowd is decent but there are a few rooms to site comfortably in. Next time you are in the Park Ridge area, check out Davey’s for good food in a casual setting and you won’t regret it.
